According to the research done in Sweden, the statistical data was collected for the patients who are having the high blood pressure for more than 170 mmHg; there are more 5 years survival chances as compared to the patients who are having the blood pressure lower than 150 mmHg. Among the patients who are having the lower blood pressure survives for the less time for 2 years.

This is one of the great studies that have been done. The reason that has been put forward was that the when the patient is having the chest pain along with the high blood pressure, this is one of the body defense mechanisms which will protect the different tissues in the body and this will have the good chances given to the patients to survive. Hence, the early blood pressure measuring in these patients who are presented to the ER must be done. This will give the very important prognostic value and will do great for the patients and their treatment.
